    In summary:

    1. Figma is the only company poised to launch a major AI product in the design space because of its large proprietary dataset.
    2. Other AI products in the design space are vaporware or will not be useful.
    3. AI will augment designers, not replace them.

I’m starting to get convinced that doing any comparison video between brands will get you called a shill no matter what lol. Nothing gets people riled up like comparing their favorite against something else šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
    Aaron Parecki
But hey at least it gets the views!

The year is 2034. Websites no longer exist, news is dead, there are no sources for information. Content cycles only from AIs trained on each other's outputs, fragments from people long gone, repeated endlessly like a big delay line memory. The sky is the average of every sky.

A bit confused as to how it interacts with #fediverse - rival paradigms? Interoperable? Just totally different things? #indieweb

    Aaron Parecki
I don't know what you'd call it, but I built ActivityPub support directly into my website so I can exist on the Fediverse from my own site.

I'm not kidding. If a thief knows the passcode for your Android phone, THEY CAN CHANGE YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT'S PASSWORD. I just had to go to Settings > Google > Manage your Google Account > Security > Password > Forgot password > Use your screen lock > Tap YES on phone or tablet.

a thread of the top questions i've seen asked at tech company town halls, in no particular order:

#1: "will (company) open a NYC branch? the ratio of women to men is better there than in SF, and finding a wife would be a huge company perk for a lot of the men here."

Yeah the pilot license for a helicopter is a totally separate thing from the "remote pilot license" you get for a drone
