    2) it took me 5 tries to find the breaker for the dishwasher. The one labeled dishwasher didn't turn anything off. Eventually I found that the one labeled "kit lights/living room" turns off the dishwasher

I can't wait to overengineer the crap out of the circuits for my new house.

Yesss give me 20A outlets on the ceiling and at twice the minimum density on the walls, preferably on two different circuits!

And why not throw a few floor outlets in there while you're at it

Please stop acting like Mastodon is the "Linux of Twitter." It's literally just Twitter with the signup process of email or old IM clients. The normal use is virtually identical.
Not even close to the accessibility issues of Linux.
Does it need work? Yes. Stop writing shit off.

Rejecting the objective, measurable, widely-reported reality is not disagreeing with someone. That's rejecting reality. No one should ever be nice to someone rejecting reality unless they're in a situation where they sincerely believe that person needs immediate medical attention

If you’re also a super old Twitter user let me know by DM if you’d like to participate. But you have to be super old or were involved in that early period. And maybe we can get a conversation going.

Jesus Christ, without Twitter my publisher is going to have to promote my novels the old-fashioned way: by doing it themselves.

The thing that pisses me off is the board and Parag were doing the β€œright” thing by selling for maximized shareholder value that then destroyed everything they’d built. How is this ok? The twitter shareholders got a payday but employees, users, and society all lose.

Happy to announce that Lost for Words, my wife Ami's new card game, is out now!

    https://lostforwords.cards/

It's a game that lets you explore hard-to-translate feelings from around the world, with over 300 words from over 70 languages.

Like the rest of the Pink Tiger Games catalog, I made the website and helped with the visual design and editing. Check it out!

@aaronpk I've built a custom backend for Overland (thx for building it!) and am gathering data now. Wanted to ask what cloud service(s) you use to look up city from point, weather from point?

Nice! If it's available to others I'll link to it from the page!
