Here are examples criminals are likely already considering:
    1. Find a tweet going viral quick
    2. Target that Twitter account to takeover
(Not all viral Twitter accounts or even verified Twitter accounts have MFA on, in fact few do)
    3. Change viral post to crypto scam
    4. Steal $$$

Much better visibility on a bike, travel at lower speeds, low chance of hitting and killing a pedestrian, no chance of T-boning someone and killing them, more convenient for drivers so they don’t have to wait forever for bikes to speed back up

If you think drivers hate bikes rolling through stop signs you should see how they feel about bikes that come to a complete stop at them.

    Dear Brandsβ„’

If you work with a PR agency for your outreach to creators, *please* give them an email address at your company domain, otherwise when I get an email "on behalf of X brand" I have no way of verifying this is legitimate, and this is exactly how channels get hacked.

So many people you assume are "talented," are just very hard workers.

It's why meeting your heroes is disappointing - they're often pretty ordinary.

data engineer for a music company: all the code I write is a means to an end.

the technology itself is not valuable, the effect (delighting customers; providing data for decision making; etc) is what's valuable. if I can achieve that without building something, that's preferred

Very important news for the internet:

I found a tape I recorded of me pretending to host news when I was around 7 years old πŸ“Ί Stay tuned for a link to the recording.

@aaronpk awesome! I did the same last week, and agreed with a customer to move too. Sadly none in the TB/sec range, but every message helps.

Any suggestions for a solid alternative to Cloudflare if we still need that kind of a service?
    Aaron Parecki
I haven't looked around much yet but I'm sure there are plenty of options. I figured I'd flip this switch off and wait a couple weeks and if it becomes a problem I'll investigate more.

well I did my (very small) part and migrated my two websites off of Cloudflare today. I'm sure my origin server can handle the extra 26gb/mo of traffic itself just fine.
