Donut.js was a huge part of my life for four years, and I am really proud of it. I’m so grateful for everyone who made it so great and for the fun and perspective and donuts we brought to the community. We had 38 events, 125 talks, and donated $15K+ to local orgs. 🍩‿🍩

Your website probably isn't a webapp, and almost definitely doesn't need half the complexity and gumpf you've shoehorned in because you read about a fancy company doing the same on Hacker News

In so far as I can tell, we’ve all come to the conclusion that the “inbox” isn’t working. Not for email, LinkedIn, Twitter, GitHub notifications, Slack / Teams - all are just new metaphorical inboxes. I’m curious if any person (not product!) thinks they have this under control.
