To those upset about some design decisions in the iOS app: Nobodyโs forcing you to use the iOS app. Iโm fully aware that it takes a different turn from all other existing apps in some aspects, and thatโs the point. If it makes the fediverse larger by retaining more new users, then Iโve succeeded and everyone benefits. If not, nobody except me loses.
@aaronpk may I ask you a few questions about this product? Background - I've used OBS for long timeframe livestreaming with some issues in the past, but I've noticed that after a few hours of livestreaming, it starts to glitch out because of memory issues. It's worse with ffmpeg - livestreaming bitrate drops drastically as time goes on. I assume since this product is hardware based, it wouldn't have those issues?
Also, what does this mean? "Plus the built in USB connections work like a webcam, so you can connect a computer and use any streaming software, or even Skype or Zoom." Does it mean that you can stream to Skype or Zoom, or from?
I understand that this and OBS are not directly comparable. Just wanted to know your thoughts on these questions.
