My coworker absolutely busted in to my office today, jump-slid onto my desk and sat herself in front of my monitor.

Hoohoohooooo I got some ‘splainin’ to do! This order arrived a month earlier than expected, so naturally I have to stop everything else immediately, because oooohhhh!!!!! @lumixusa #lumixambassador #lumixusa

Haha I like the idea but I’d need a lot more of them :-) No, replacing all the cameras I use for my main studio setup. No longer a mix; consistent look, all network controllable, all have synchro scan shutter angle… it’s dreamy.

People ask me how to pronounce GNAP, and I just tell them it's pronounced "gnap", kinda like GIF is pronounced "gif".

@aaronpk the portable air conditioners are great. Probably sold out for months.

    Aaron Parecki
I have one for the apartment, but I don't want something taking up that much floor space in the studio and I also don't want that noise. Eventually I'll probably install a mini split as a permanent solution, but in the mean time I'm gonna hack up a cold air pipe tomorrow and see how it goes.

    New #indieweb libraries: taproot/micropub-adapter and taproot/indieauth!

Finally put the finishing touches on these two closely-related libraries, which make it quick and easy to add Micropub and IndieAuth support to any PHP app which uses PSR-7.

Feedback appreciated, either as replies, GH issues, or at indieweb.org/discuss

It’s a drive discontinued 6 years ago, and users expect the cloud-based infrastructure to still work? I think it’s 6 years past the time to use it as anything but a dumb usb drive …
    Aaron Parecki
The hardware "not working" is very different from the hardware still having an active connection to the cloud that can be exploited to wipe the drive. If it "didn't work" I'd expect it to be effectively offline.

@gabek SQUEEEEE!!!! This is so exciting! I also LOVE how you're looking at how #Owncast can *co-operate* with #Peertube, rather than becoming competing standards.

What I would love to see eventually would be a flow like this:
    1. When an Owncast user starts casting it's autoposted to the #Fediverse where it can be viewed embedded.
    2. People can follow the user from the fedi client
    3. Comments posted on the Owncast cast show up as replies on the toot, replies from fedi show as stream comments
