Seriously considering deleting facebook, personal and business. Twitter works just fine. Thoughts?
    Aaron Parecki
I would recommend tombstoning instead of deleting, just to make sure nobody else can make an account with your name. Delete all the posts, disable tagging, etc, leave a single post up that says where to find you elsewhere.

That’s why I hope a true FCPX iPad app comes. Trackpad changes everything.
    Aaron Parecki
doesn't adding a trackpad to the ipad and not using the touchscreen make it... a laptop?

Git was made to replace bitkeeper; so I assume that's where "master" comes from and yes it comes from "master and slave repository" https://github.com/bitkeeper-scm/bitkeeper/blob/master/doc/HOWTO.ask#L231-L232

Pokemon Go has lasted longer than the confederacy did and with three times the Americans behind it, you're lucky they only took the statues down instead of replacing them with Pikachus

106 days I don't set foot on a plane- probably the longest time spent land-bound in the past 15 years.
I do miss seeing my audiences, hard to gauge whether a joke has landed if all you see are your own slides- but truly blessed to work for a company remote friendly by design:)

@aaronpk oddly enough that csv export option only exists in my US amazon account, not in my Dutch amazon account. In the US it also only contains physical books, not e-books

    Aaron Parecki
Well that's strange. I wonder if GDPR has something to do with that.

not only do some of the pairs stupidly duplicate basic services, i've heard it breaks some gis workflows because the centroid of the township is in the borough :) better do your label placement right!

underrated tweet. most people will not know what this means or why it's significant.

Just in: After some significant brand confusion around HBO Max and all the other HBO apps, WarnerMedia is officially "sunsetting" HBO Go and will rebrand HBO Now as, simply, HBO.

At Hulu, we used to distinguish between "Originals" and "Exclusives" to denote which shows we'd funded and which we'd just gotten the rights to.

At some point, everyone in the industry just started calling them all Originals in their marketing. No idea why.

I‘ve been trying to control my Twitter habit a bit by drawing instead of scrolling the timeline at the end of the night. I’m realizing how much I missed making art for no reason 💜
