MyPOV - Dear @satyanadella please take off the first day after #MSBuild that is available to review the Identity mess @Microsoft has created over the last 20 years. I am tired having to reset passwords every day. MS Users have a few accounts... solutions exist. Let's do it.

I’ve been pondering why images in mirrors are flipped L-R but not up-down.
I’ve concluded that it’s because, when we turn to face a mirror, we invariably prefer turning about a vertical axis (thereby staying the right way up) than a horizontal one (and flipping ourselves over).

We would say to our kid “you’ve watched enough tv. Go play.” So this morning he asks me, “have I watched enough TV?”. Guess it’s time to phrase things differently.

Every 6 months I watch a video with the explanation, then I say “of course, it makes sense now”. Then time passes. Rinse repeat.

I'm spending a part of my quarantine learning After Effects, finally. I'll probably never consider myself an animator, but being able to move things around the way I used to in Flash (and still feel sort of relevant) will be good for me.
    Aaron Parecki
After Effects feels eerily similar to Flash in some ways.

I feel the same way all the time! - What have you tried so far, if anything? I feel like the adobe suite is a bit overkill and overcomplicates but there doesn’t seem to be many viable alternatives
    Aaron Parecki
I've done some in Keynote, which works great for relatively simple animations. I've tried learning Apple Motion and Adobe stuff too, I guess I just need practice to be more fluent in them.

I wish I was better at motion graphics. I have this animation in my head for my next video and I don't really have the knowledge or tools to make it come to life.

    What an interesting butterfly effect

Apple wants to preserve your battery life > email clients can’t check in the background > email clients set up servers to store credentials and check email to push notify you of new email > everyone’s email now exposed to huge security vector
