One of the reasons I dislike stacked line graphs so much. It's so hard to see the performance of each item. This tells the same story but allows you to pull apart the weaker players.

What do you do when you have 6 messaging apps authored or bought by your company? You build a 7th to unify them all! 😊

I find it so interesting that people want free content from us daily, but then get so tilted when we make some money or do a sponsorship or something

Would you prefer I just make thousands of hours worth of content and make nothing?

Would you prefer I quit and get a job?

That's my Amazon cart. I do that on purpose to stop me from buying random things. If I still need it the next time I visit the site, I'll buy it. Otherwise I just delete it; it obviously wasn't that important.

I didn't spend my childhood in barbed wire enclosed internment camps so I could listen to grown adults today cry oppression because they have to wear a mask at Costco.

There's a domain still in my @namecheap shopping cart, and I genuinely don't remember what the project idea was for that domain. I guess it's good that I didn't actually buy it.

I just wrote a stateless 45-line oauth2 server for testing purposes (i.e. no security), I don't know if I'm proud or horrified.

The part of this process I hate the most is my local ISP refused for months to offer me any other option until I hit them with industry jargon then suddenly the magic words opened the gates (in this case it was “do you offer wireless dedicated backhaul connections?”)

I'm trying to route sound from a Focusrite audio interface through the headphone output and lightning adapter into an iPhone to use with the video app, but it's not detecting the signal as a microphone

    Am I out of luck?

    Aaron Parecki
you might need one of those TRS-TRRS adapter cables, but I'm not actually sure how the iPhone deals with the headphone level rather than the normal level from mics
