Does it matter having a domain email address anymore? I almost feel weird not having @gmail in my address. It used to be so professional to have a domain email. Now people get confused lol
    Aaron Parecki
Every time I tell my email address to someone ... "aaron at parecki dot..." they say "wait, aaron dot parecki at what?"

Some bike commuters at work, missing their commutes while everybody's working from home, are organizing commute-replacement rides. I wonder how many people who drive to work daily are missing their commutes. 🚴‍♀️🚴🚴‍♂️

It seems pretty likely there will be a whole wave of new remote working apps and services created in the next few months, as all those silicon valley engineer sit at home and get frustrated by tiny details of the stuff they use today.

Today I did an in-place upgrade from Sierra (10.12) to Catalina (10.15), and it actually worked flawlessly, and it breathed new life into this 2017 12" Macbook!

I was ready to wipe and start from scratch but I'm glad I gave this a shot because it saved me at least 2 days!

Remote worker tip: after testing oodles of options the best off-the-shelf webcam is the Logitech Brio for improving how your video meetings look. It runs on USB-C, which also makes it very easy to plug into a newer Mac without any additional software https://amzn.to/3cJECcT

Dang that looks a lot better than the Logitech C920 I've been using for years!
