Passwords are as dead as SAML- they’re legacy, they more or less work, they’ll be around for a long time still. But webauthn is right there to become a convenient alternative to social login - @iglazer at the @openid connect summit

I just realized I find a modem connection sound soothing because it marked a clear and intentional separation between ONLINE and not online. You made a choice when you were ready to experience online things. But now? It’s baked into everything by default.

I was involved in the hiring decisions on most of those people, and I can say confidently: the secret to a diverse team isn’t having a pool of mostly homogenous candidates and then picking the one that looks different.

Oh that reminded me -- the way that you connect the X2 to YouTube with that temporary code -- building and teaching software developers that kind of thing is literally my actual job!

I got "XXXXXX is your Twitter login code. [...]", which sounds pretty reasonable.

But maybe their phone verification message is just wrong. ^_^

ok I was curious so I just tried the SMS verification and got "Your Twitter confirmation code is XXXXXX"

I tried a 2fa challenge and got "XXXXXX is your Twitter login code. [...]"

So yeah I can't think of another way to trigger that unless someone got past the password prompt.
