Nope you can talk to it on your local network just fine. It doesn't need internet access to work!

Great article, Aaron! How do you block your Broadlink RM Mini’s internet access? Also, are you able to do Node-RED automations based on triggers from Wyze Sense devices?

Thanks! I blocked it in my home router. And yes the Wyze sensors have been great and I can create automations in node-red from them!

For those waiting for my video on ATEM Mini + Epiphan Webcaster X2, apologies for the delay. I'm having hardware issues and awaiting replacement X2. Also have discovered an anomaly with the ATEM and am waiting for response from BMD. Christmas+NewYears slowing all of this down too
