I have to confess that geopolitical controvery is not one of the challenges I anticipated when Apple brazenly tackled Maps.

As someone who has come from the mapping world and seen the CEO make passing comments like "hey nice to see you can't chat gotta go settle this border dispute" I could have told you this was coming a hundred miles away

Did you buy a low-end iPad for $500 in April, 2010, when it debuted? If you had invested that money in $AAPL it would be worth about $4,000 today.

I once heard a rule that for every dollar you spend on apple products you should buy that much stock as well. I wish i had followed that advice.
