Working out the glitches of my monthly updates newsletter for May, so I can send out the first copy. Hopefully it’ll all be ready in the next day or two. First step in leaving Facebook, having an alternative.
Nice! I'd be curious to hear anything you learn! I did a little experiment with my own HTML newsletter from my blog posts, but I haven't gotten them to look right yet. -

@aaronpk Yes! It can post to Micropub or WordPress. It uses whatever blog you already have configured in the macOS app.
That's awesome! Can't wait to try this out with my photos! I never got around to building a mass import into OwnYourGram and maybe now I won't have to! -
oh awesome! That was fast! Any chance this uses Micropub and can be used with non-microblog-hosted sites?

The end goal is not for every individual blogger and website owner to add HEAD tags to their websites, it’s that the tools that allow people to use the websites support adding the HEAD tags automatically. Like micro.blog. If you add Twitter/GitHub in the settings, it automatically applies rel=“me” to the links. As a user you don’t have to understand the technical aspect. That is the end goal, platform/software owners understand the tech stuff and users use the platforms/softwares

@EddieHinkle I want to try Indigenous, but I’ve never managed to get it to log in. It used to say it couldn’t find any suitable
rel=“me”endpoints, but I tried it again just now and I get this:{"error":"invalid_grant","error_description":"Redirect not on same host as client"}

Finally rode one of those electric scooters that are all over San Francisco right now! 🛴 They're actually pretty fun! Definitely less of a mental barrier than getting on a bike, easier to hop on and off. I hope they stick around! #birdscooters
