@aaronpk Hi Aaron! You could always run @spark_io on a Rpi! http://kennethlimcp.gitbooks.io/spark-local-cloud-on-raspberry-pi/content/index.html Also I'm a big fan of Esri, used to work at Azavea!

@aaronpk Yes raspi is my ideal local server -you can count on it being supported & since its node based that's not hard to do!

@aaronpk Yes - we'll have a local server version available (and open source of course) for win/osx/linux/raspberry pi - it is node.js based
@digistump That would be the greatest if I can run the API on a Raspberry pi! That would beat the heck out of @spark_io!

Configuring wifi on the raspberry pi:
Edit /etc/network/interfaces, and add:
wpa-ssid "network name"
wpa-psk "password"
auto wlan0
Then I had to `sudo service networking restart` and `sudo ifdown wlan0; sudo ifup wlan0` a couple times and it eventually worked. -
Champagne cocktail experiment:
