@chmod777self.com Yea that's exactly my point, not everybody a) uses apache and b) can change settings on their web server (shared hosting environments, github pages, etc)

Hacked together a quick bookmarklet so I can get a keyboard shortcut to reply to people' #indieweb notes!
The trick is that you can add a custom search engine in Chrome (right click on the URL bar and click "edit search engines" to see how many you already have!) but instead of defining a URL pattern, you can put in Javascript!
Now once I'm on a URL I'm replying to, I type "r" in the URL bar and it jumps over to my site! The result:

Monoculture doesn't work on the public web, why should it work in the enterprise? Just because we /can/ push a technology top down within an org doesn't mean we should, and certainly doesn't mean it will actually be used much less enjoyed. #osfw3c
