To travel websites who can't parse dates like '8/20' into the needed format: your website is your business. WTF? Spend a day & implement it.
    Aaron Parecki
@incanus77 True, but you also have to consider internationalization, where a date like 7/5/10 is ambiguous - July 5th or May 7th

Anyone know of a good keystroke mapping application for XP? Like UberOptions, but for more than the mouse and keyboard.

@TechWraith @maxticket @skry I use Aptana because it has great SVN integration and the global find/replace and code hinting is great.

I'm sure you knew this already, but the actual correct interpretation of http's 418 status code is: "I'm a teapot" (got a chuckle out of me)

@TechWraith Emacs has a functioning implementation of HTCPCP, the Hyper Text Coffee Pot Control Protocol http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyper_Text_Coffee_Pot_Control_Protocol

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
