    @aaronpk One of the versions of this inside Twitter for a while was named “voices”, which I always liked the feel of. Being able to follow either an entire account or specific channels has some interesting utility, for sure.

    ohh did this get prototyped but never shipped? I think it'd be really interesting for sure! The good news is we can just do this on the web instead!

      @aaronpk There were at least 3 different riffs on the concept in my years there. Maybe one of them made it to public experiment? I don’t know if anyone figured out fully how to manage the extra interface weight. Or, what to do if someone you follow started adding other channels later.

      At a certain level, the cow path was already that people ran multiple accounts, so once you could switch between accounts, did you really need a layer of product complexity for that niche?
