Let's see if I get banned for linking to my own website, which you can also follow from Mastodon.

wow I didn't expect the policy to get written to actually prohibit linking to other platforms like Mastodon... good thing my website is not running Mastodon and is my own first-party platform, not third-party.

@aaronpk Can you share some info Abt your setup? I can visualize how you are sharing your posts with the Fediverse. How is it done in the other direction? If I go to your site, I see your posts, but I do not see replies to them. Are they visible only to you? Also does your setup display posts from your following & Federated timeline (just for you)? TIA

@aaronpk I like how they list out the platforms by name and the absence of some they clearly don't see worry about losing people to.

Time to pack up shop here. The tyrant in charge is getting out of control.

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)
