      I *do* cook with meat and eggs, and this zankha thing is a mystery to me too. I'm reminded of umami, a taste that Asians knew about long before Westerners decided it was real. Care to comment, @LibyaLiberty?

      @aaronpk It's just about describing a type of smells that has a specific word in other languages but doesn't have in English. Definitely not an uncommon thing.

      Reminds me when I bought a salsa verde sauce in CA, everyone was happy with its taste but for me the taste of artificial ingredients was so sickening I almost puked.

      When you look for "zankha" you can see the struggle of mid-eastern culture trying to explain. =)
