Any chance anyone has a handy tutorial on how to make your static github-hosted blog be discoverable on mastodon?

I'm at https://sgo.to, and could be wonderful if I could have it discoverable as @me@sgo.to.

Anyone out there, before I dig into the ActivityPub specs?

It takes a little work to set up, but this service manages all the ActivityPub stuff as well as the HTTP Signatures required. You will need to be able to configure actual HTTP redirects on your host. https://fed.brid.gy

Sure! Not ideal, I'm sure I'll eventually make some change on fed.brid.gy and the copies will skew and degrade, but should work until then.

It might be possible to copy and re-host the Bridgy Fed stuff under .well-known on your static site. Maybe @schnarfed might know?

You would need a webfinger doc and mfoster.inrupt.net/.well-known/we… and actor profile mfoster.inrupt.net/profile/actor, you should hack away at Social Linked Data (SoLiD) with me.

Ugh that's what I thought :( I don't have access to controlling redirects I believe.
