    I'm actually leaning towards electronic door strikes, since that provides the best UX when the power fails or the whole system is down, it just turns into a regular keyed door lock

      As long as your door frame isn’t wood its not a bad idea, and a pretty proven tech. If the frame is wood or shallow aluminum like having a window next to your door, as we did at our last house, it can be a challenge to fit.
