I have wondered the exact same thing(s) many times. It's weird... Some of us still use DSLR cameras for good stuff.

okay it turns out Canon actually has this feature https://image.canon but it works by pairing with your smart phone. Which I guess makes sense.

  When my Canon 5D Mark IV isn’t being used as my webcam, I use this to get my photos up to the cloud. Helps that the 5D4 supports FTP and FTPS file transfer. Higher-end cameras from Sony/Nikon may have FTP support. tow.com/2016/12/31/wir…
