The whole thing is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than I was expecting. They look bigger in photos and videos, but they're seriously tiny.

my only complaint is that there's no room in the case for the 1/8" cable and I have definitely grabbed the mic case and forgotten to bring the cable once or twice

  Yes! That and the dead cats. At least you can record from the transmitter on its own, and it has built-in storage!! Not a game-over situation, but yeah, they need to leave a bit more room in the case for that.
