I wanted to give a shout-out to @studiocouillard for the awesome new art for http://identityunlocked.com - i love everything: album art, highlight, etc… but I am particularly fond of the logo, the little negative space guy over the unlocked lock. Genius 🤯

If you hire someone to edit you gotta train them and figure out all the stuff like interviews, onboarding, systems, etc. A manager shows up and follows you around, figures out your stuff, creates systems, then does the hiring, onboarding, and getting everyone working together.

I just paid double what I wanted to compared to normal brands (samsung, kitchenaid, etc) for an induction range _without_ wifi and all that crap. I'm very happy about the choice.
    Aaron Parecki
Oh no I'm about to buy an induction cooktop and the one I was most interested in from a feature/price perspective also has wifi even tho I would rather it didn't, will I regret this?

I can think of nobody else more qualified to sell people imaginary ownership of nonexistent assets based purely on hype.

I live a few blocks from the busiest interchange in the country, in Springfield VA. It's quite a sight!

    Maybe?

I picked up a Fisher & Paykel and am very happy with it. No complaints. But it's only been a few months. Time will tell if it's a lemon. Induction rules if this is your first.
    Aaron Parecki
It is my first and I am very excited about it, just less excited that seemingly every appliance now wants to connect to wifi
