The โ€œGive it the UI of an iPhoneโ€ part is maybe the most intriguing. I mean, the UI of most camera systems really still feels like this today:

The notable exception being Blackmagic cameras!

๐Ÿ˜ฎ It's amazing what you can do with modern CSS. These icons are all filters, gradients, clip-paths, and inset box shadows.

Anyone got one of these LaMetric boxes? If so, can it be controlled from anything other than the app; ideal with Stream Deck or Companion controls, or even iOS Shortcuts? https://amzn.to/3GohzUi

I have one! There is sort of an API for it depending on what you're trying to do with it.

But will I have to hire you to write code for it? ๐Ÿ˜‚ Mainly (at least at the moment) just what I said in the first tweet; toggling between time of day and the YT count, and occasionally making it a countdown timer
    Aaron Parecki
you know what, I think that might actually be possible: https://lametric-documentation.readthedocs.io/en/latest/reference-docs/device-apps.html#id15

I think it might even be possible to do this entirely within Companion without writing any actual code for it...

So, youโ€™re saying is I should get one? ๐Ÿ˜‚
    Aaron Parecki
oh I assumed you already had one! I'm mildly curious to see how this ends up working so I might try it myself! The Lametric is fun, but doesn't necessarily work like you'd expect, so I'm not totally sure about this one.

The problem with having a clock that makes a sound every hour is it makes it uncomfortably apparent how fast the hours go by.
