OAuth has become the de facto standard for platform authentication and authorization and it’s in your interest (not mine) to adopt it sooner rather than later.

yeah - there are two ways to make hnt, as a miner: proof-of-coverage and network transfer. the early goldrush days were all driven by the former, which is slowly adjusting down and being replaced by network traffic, which does not pay very well. https://www.helium.com/token#distribution

I actually have one of those hotspots, I set it up in June. So far I have just barely made my money back on the purchase of the hotspot, which I definitely consider a success but is by no means going to get me anywhere $10,000 any time soon.

Dear carmakers: I really don't need an electric SUV. I want an electric microvan, the size of the ones they've been selling in Japan for over 50 years. It's like a taller / longer overcab Scion xA.

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
