Put water in kettle. Put tea bag in cup. Poured kettle into tea cup. Let it steep. First sip was cold.

Apparently I never actually put the kettle on.

Good thing it’s Friday.

I can't tell you how many times I've poured cold water from the kettle into my espresso and taken a very sad first sip
