  Honestly, leaving aside every other reason why the web is good and "native" apps aren't, the thing I consistently find most useful is that I can always select and copy text from a web app, and native apps only when they deign to let me, which is never.

  TIL: "Day 2" is bizarre short form for "day 2 or before" and there are arrival test centres in the airport, not that you'd be able to find them in-between the "drive-through test center" spam. 🤦
  

  well that's some bizarre word play. I've scoured the UK websites trying to find out if I need a test to just transit thru on the layover to Germany, and I was pretty sure I don't, but now I don't trust anything I read.

  My mac says "Your screen is being observed" on the lock screen. How do I tell what app is doing this?? I've already turned off screen recording permissions for all apps in the Privacy section. And rebooted.

  Just incase you have a background recording going on hit CMD + Shift + 5 to stop it.

  @aaronpk Do you use VNC / Screen Sharing.app? You could try turning off screen sharing in the Sharing preference pane.
  

  Screen sharing is off, I've done all the obvious stuff. Trying to figure out what non-obvious stuff is left to try.

  Having the same issue, not a clue. It won’t let me unlock via Watch anymore because it says that’s not available while the screen is being observed.
  

  well that's a weird one! I don't have an Apple Watch otherwise I would test this too

  Unfortunately this isn't even the computer I use for that setup. It's my laptop that isn't connected to anything but still shows that message

  Do you have any remote connection tools like teamviewer installed?
  

  Nope, not a lot of stuff installed on this, certainly nothing that you'd expect to be screen recording
