    Thanks, but the whole dispute process explanation is very victim-blamey, and doesn't even leave open the possibility that copyright claims might be filed fraudulently.

      Update: I contacted Artlist and got their lawyers involved and magically the copyright claim was released! I'm glad it was so easy for them to resolve that, but I also hold to my original statement that the YouTube ContentID dispute process allows false claims far too easily.

      Agreed. Don’t get the music dispute thing. “They” can wait 30 days and be radio silent. If they really want to dispute, give 7 days to respond or release the claim. If no response, release it. Onus on the disputer.
