To recap: A bunch of rich white folk got together just 10 years ago to make their exclusive neighborhood even more economically inhospitable (esp. to people of color) by getting it blessed by the National Historic Register -- on the basis of it having historically banned blacks.

This feature is fully rolled out in your YouTube Studio (on desktop) showing times of the day when your viewers are watching your content; hopefully allowing you to schedule your streams/premieres/uploads in a more tactical way.

I’m extremely happy that Safari will support the WebExtensions API in macOS 11. Even better, they’re adding the support in a privacy and security centric way. Bravo! 👏🏻

I just built MarsEdit for Apple Silicon with no source changes. I literally flipped the switch and it built with no errors. It’s not a trivial app. I can’t wait to try it out on real hardware!

Here’s a thread of 10 strongly held opinions I have formed about the “geospatial industry”:

    1. The most successful and ambitious mapping project of all time, Google Maps, is an advertising platform. There is no “geospatial industry,” only industries with spatial problems.

    6. ESRI is a petty, anti-competitive bully whose muscle for innovation atrophied 20 years ago. The people that work there are overwhelmingly smart, kind, and competent. Much of the world runs on their products and their commitment to bettering the world is genuine. ☯️
