cmd is for everything you used to use ctrl on Windows for. ctrl is for things you used ctrl on UNIX for.
That’s hysterical, OK I sort of get it, that will help a lot (except for the cases where Cmd is Alt, e.g. Alt+Tab, or Alt is Ctrl, e.g. moving a word at a time with arrows)
