@bmndr @anomalily That’s true. It’s a trade-off between true randomness and randomness that seems broken.
    Aaron Parecki
@GetReporter @bmndr @anomalily Actually the current randomness does seem quite broken. I'm often pinged literally seconds after making a manual report.

@BTsyncCom How is that a sustainable business model for you? I'm worried about using things I'm not paying for.

@aaronpk @GetReporter @bmndr My data reflects “breakfast” with a higher frequency than other daily activities because of report timing.
    Aaron Parecki
@anomalily Do you not make manual reports ever? I usually make more manual reports than prompted ones. @GetReporter @bmndr

@aaronpk @GetReporter @bmndr Never! The Point for me is random samples - best statistical data practice.
    Aaron Parecki
@anomalily @GetReporter @bmndr I lean heavily more towards the "complete dataset" side of things, which has its own set of problems.

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
