Hey, #pdx: if you've parsed incoming emails and dealt with character encodings I'd like to pick your brain. I will buy you a beer, or two. -
On the plus side, I've recently learned a lot about email protocols and I've gotten to read way more RFCs than usual.

Reading a patent from 1928. lots of math and diagrams for something that never existed...

Kinda annoyed that the desktop version of Tweetdeck doesn't geocode outgoing tweets. Hacked a script together to do it for me.

Is it terrible that I remove commas that *should* be there in order to get under 140 chars? #conflicted
@geekygirldawn It's not terrible... sometimes I've added punctuation so that I can reach 140 characters. I call it \\creative punctuation!//
