Had a very productive day putting some more finishing touches on Meetable, with the occasional lull under a sleeping kitten.

Just published an updated version of my book, OAuth 2.0 Simplified! I also made a new book, The Little Book of OAuth RFCs, a collection of all the specs which are a part of OAuth. If at least one person appreciates the contrast between the sizes of these two books, I will be happy.

I like to think of myself as a somewhat organized person.
But all these SD cards have photos and videos from different trips and projects and cameras, in no particular order, and I really need to sort out what has already been backed up and what exists only on the cards.

Making Meetable Easier to Install
I've been working towards making Meetable more useful to others by making it easier to configure and deploy. I took a few shortcuts during the initial development that let me finish it faster, primarily by offloading authentication and image resizing to external services. While that's great for me, it means it requires setting up two additional projects if someone else wanted to get it running.continue reading... -
