It was super awesome to visit the @heritage_radio studios in NY today and see how they converted shipping containers into a recording studio!
I've always been concerned about noise bleed from the nearby road at @stream_pdx but this is a whole new level. The studio shares a glass wall with the patio of a bar! They seem to do just fine with it tho!

My train was late so I didn't have time to make it to my hotel for a call at 1, so I left Penn Station and tried to find a coffee shop, but all the coffee shops are full of loud blaring music so I ended up finding a second floor patio bar which is just out of the way enough to have only normal levels of NY street background noise which was okay for the call.
