      How cool! Really great work.

It looks like you grabbed my old domain off of the IRC people page. I forgot to update it :p I wonder if there is a way to associate an IRC nick to a URL in a way Loqi can understand.

cweiske @pfefferle demanding strictly ordered + laid out HTML makes things easier for consumers at the expense of publishers, which is a known anti-pattern. We should optimise for ease of publishing.

Also, many implementations are already parsing the target HTML for reply-contexts (e.g. Aaron Parecki (example), @jschweisnberg (example and myself (example)), demonstrating that parsing HTML is not a significant barrier.

@benwerd IIUC, it's actually a special permalink page created for that line with a few additional lines of context. There isn't a good solution yet for sending a webmention from a page that has multiple h-entry elements. One possible solution that we've discussed is for a sender to send source URLs with an id fragment that a receiver can use to only parse #microformats starting from that id. /cc #indieweb #irc

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
