What is Career Pathways?
Career Pathways transforms Oregon's education system to focus on helping Oregonians attain degrees, certificates, and credentials that lead to demand occupations, increased wage gain, and lifelong learning.
Web Tool Development
I have been developing the Web Tool used to create the Career Pathways Roadpmaps since 2007. The tool allows community college staff and high school teachers to create roadmaps in a consistent graphical style. The roadmaps can be embedded in the school's websites and the colors can be customized to match the school's color scheme.
The tool facilitates a group workflow by allowing multiple people to collaborate on roadmaps, with all changes maintained in a version history. The tool also produces XML and accessible versions of the roadmaps for ADA compliance.
