While attempting to log in to the firewall at the office to turn on the new Internet service, the server room lights went out. I initially thought it was my fault for typing in the wrong password, then I realized the whole office lost power, then I looked outside and it was the whole block! Parking garage, street lights, other buildings...

Every time one of my coworkers asks me for recommendations for things to do in Portland I realize that I come from a pretty legit place.
