About this Wiki
This is a public wiki intended to compile all the online resources surrounding the Innovations 2009 conference held in Reno, Nevada in March 2009. Many of the attendees and presenters post to their blogs during the conference and have online group conversations in real time. A lot of good discussion takes place online, and this is a place to collect it all and to continue further discussions.

How to Use
If you attend a session, create a header for it under the "Sessions" section below. Add links to your blog post or coveritlive session there. This will allow others to join in the sessions or see what you have written on your blog.
Don't be afraid to edit the content of these pages! Jot something down quickly at first, without worrying about making it look perfect. You or someone else can always come back later to tidy things up.
You can edit this wiki anonymously, or you can create an account to get attribution for your contributions.
To see an example of using this type of wiki, check out the eLearning 2009 Conference wiki.

Cover It Live
Cover It Live is a real-time blogging platform where one or more people can collaboratively blog in real time. One person hosts a blogging session and sends the link to others. The host can then type in real time and everyone else will see their comments. The host can also grant privileges to others so that the session becomes collaborative, and real-time discussion can take place.
Twitter is a social networking and micro-blogging service which allows its users to send and read short 140-character updates, or tweets. You can post updates via a variety of sources, such as text messages or from your computer. Many educational professionals are using Twitter to post frequent updates about projects they are working on, or other interesting things they may be involved in. Here is a list of some highly rated educational tweeters.
During the conference, people may be posting their thoughts about the sessions they are attending to Twitter for others to see. You can see what people are saying right now by visiting the Twitter Feed page. To join in, sign up for an account, and add #lfi09 to the end of your message so that others can find it.
Tr.im - Short URLs
Shorten your URLs before posting to Twitter! Turn a long URL like http://aaronparecki.com/innovations2009 into something short like http://tr.im/lfi09
